Description | As of August 12th, 2022, project has not been awarded yet. No timeline of award was established. Bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered. All bids received prior to the due date and time and in proper form will be publicly opened and read at Mosier City Hall, 208 Washington Street. Bidders must submit a first-tier subcontractors disclosure list within two hours of the date and time for receipt of bids. Failure to submit the required first-tier subcontractors list within the required two hours of the date and time for the receipt of bids will disqualify the bidder from further consideration. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the time announced for the opening, or before the award and execution of the Contract, unless the City elects to delay the award for a period exceeding 60 days. The Project has an expected duration of 60 calendar days. The Notice to Proceed may be delayed if necessary due to supply chain issues. Work to be performed includes: construction necessary for the installation of two Chargepoint CPE250 Level 3 DC fast chargers, or approved equal; installation of an E-bike charging station; and installation of a table with integrated solar powered awning (Lumos Solarzone, or approved equal). The work is located at the currently vacant City-owned parking lot on the north side of US Highway 30 near the intersection of Highway 30 and Idaho St. The work includes all electrical work necessary for the improvements, minor grading, asphalt paving, construction of concrete pads, lighting, and signage and parking lot striping. The contractor shall procure the EV chargers and coordinate with the manufacturer or the manufacturer's representative to commission and validate the installation for warranty purposes. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates under ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Each bid must include a signed statement as to whether the contractor is a resident bidder as provided in ORS 279A.120. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The City of Mosier reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the request for bids.
