FY22 Kingman Lake Environmental Assessment and Design

The Design Contractor shall be required to work with the Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP), Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE), and the National Park Service (NPS) (collectively referred to as “the Partners”) to complete the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) analysis and designs for the restoration of Kingman Lake (the Project). The District desires to see multiple types of restoration projects included in the design such as tidal wetlands, living shorelines, native submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) beds, and freshwater mussel beds. The project area is approximately 138 acres in size, however, the Partners desire to see restoration completed within this area and not across all 138 acres. The requirements set forth herein contain the entire Project.
