RFP Construction Manager at Risk - Henderson County Schools Upward Elementary School

Henderson County is accepting proposals for a Construction Manager at Risk for the Renovations to HCPS Upward Elementary School. This facility will be located on the campus of Henderson County Schools Upward Elementary School in Flat Rock, NC. This project is for renovation to the existing Upward Elementary School and the project scope includes entry/site and cafeteria modifications inclusive of, but not limited to, creating a secure entry vestibule, expanding the size of the cafeteria to meet DPI guidelines, creating secure corridors at/around the cafeteria and main entrance, relocating the car and bus rider drop offs and reconfiguring the parking lots to accomplish same, new canopies, and access control components. The work has an estimated construction budget of approximately $850,000. All proposals must demonstrate compliance with all aspects of North Carolina law and Henderson County policy, including MBE, e-verification, terms and conditions and other requirements. As a general guide to prospective proposers, the Construction Manager-at-Risk Selection Procedures adopted by the North Carolina State Building Commission, appropriately modified for use by Henderson County, will be employed in this process. The owner retains the unqualified right to reject any and/or all proposals. The owner may or may not interview potential candidates to assist in the selection process
