Description | The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain proposals from a qualified janitorial service company including all necessary supervision, labor, and cleaning supplies and equipment as detailed in the specifications and Agreement. Intent to Bid Due Date: Mar 2nd 2023, 2:00 PM CST Questions Due Date: Feb 17th 2023, 2:00 PM CST TERM: The initial term of the contract shall be for a one (1) year period beginning May 1, 2023 through April 31, 2024, with an option to renew for four (4) additional one-year terms at the discretion of Denton County Commissioners Court. BONDING instructions: Offerors must submit with their proposal, a copy of the Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of Proposal Price payable without recourse to the Owner, from a surety company holding permit from the State of Texas to act as a surety, as a guarantee that Offeror will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract. Proposals without acceptable bid bond, as stated above, may not be considered The successful Proposer must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price from an approved Surety Company. (An approved Surety Company being a company holding a permit from the State of Texas, to act as Surety, and being acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of approval from the State Board of Insurance under 7.19-1 of the Texas Insurance Code.) The successful Proposer must also be able to show evidence that it is authorized to do business in the State of Texas prior to executing the contract. All bonds and policies of insurance shall be approved by the Owner before the successful proposer may proceed with the work. All costs for bonding should be included in the base proposal. |
