Avienda - Phase 1

Plans call for the construction of a 120-acre mixed-use development which will feature housing, restaurant, commercial and entertainment space: Phase 1 will consist of 31 villa-style townhomes and eight single-family homes Future Phases will consist of 417 apartment units, 53 row homes, a 300-unit senior living building and an entertainment park plaza, several retail buildings (including an anticipated grocer as an anchor), restaurants, office buildings, a hotel and a child care center As of October 2022, Phase 1 has received final plat approval from Chanhassen City Council. An architect and general contractor have been selected. Information regarding subcontractor bidding opportunities has not been released. Phase 1 is not expected to begin construction prior to spring 2023.
