FY22 Multi-Modal Rehabilitate Runway 5-23 Lighting Project

As of August 5, 2022, the project is anticipated to be awarded end of this month. The attention of bidders is directed to the Contract Provisions governing selection and employment of labor. Minimum wage rates for Federal-Aid projects have been predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and are subject to Public Law 87-581 Work Hours Act of 1962, as set forth in the Contract Provisions. The Airport Board hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged and women's business enterprises will be afforded the full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The award of this contract will be contingent upon the Contractor satisfying the DBE/WBE requirements. Bid preparation will be in accordance with instructions to bidders bound in the specifications. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Mississippi in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to execute a Performance Bond with a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Mississippi in the full amount of the contract price, which bond shall comply with the laws of the State of Mississippi.

Division 26 -	Electrical, Lighting, Exterior Lighting, Lighting Poles and Standards.
Division 31 -	Earthwork, Grading, Earthwork Methods.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Flexible Paving, Rigid Paving, Fences and Gates, Turf and Grasses.
Division 34 -	Transportation, Airfield Signaling and Control Equipment.
