| Description | Provide in-place reclamation/recycling of existing pavements, either with or without asphalt emulsion or other stabilizing liquid injection, on County Roads and Town Highways within Essex County, New York. The successful Bidder shall provide labor, equipment, and materials in accordance with these specifications. The existing pavement shall be processed to the depth specified; thus, potentially blending it with a portion of the existing granular base. The existing pavement shall be ground in a manner such that there is at least one inch (1") overlap of adjoining passes. Injection of asphalt emulsion or other stabilizing liquid may be required. If this is the case, the emulsion or stabilizing liquid shall be purchased under a separate Contract. |
