Description

The Project is located at the Monroe Lake State Wildlife Area, at the existing boat launch on the north end of Monroe Lake off State Route 145, approximately 1.1 miles east of Miltonsburg, Ohio. The proposed improvements for this ramp consist of replacing and extending the existing concrete ramp to allow for use during a full range of normal pool elevations. The ramp will also be equipped with a fixed concrete courtesy dock with space for 2 to 3 boats to tie off to outside of the launch lane. In order to further open the lake up to a larger selection of boats the area around the ramp will be dredged/excavated to provide a greater water depth between the ramp and the lake itself. Ramp access will also be improved through the filling of a portion of the channel adjacent to the ramp in order to create up to 7 new car/trailer parking spaces, including one ADA accessible space. The proposed improvements will bring the Monroe ramp into compliance with ADA regulations. Alternate A-1 – Solar Light $9,500.00
