Description | Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract A New Water Well LA40 West for Tangipahoa Water District will be received by the Chairman & Board of Commissioners of Tangipahoa Water District. The Project consists of: Construction of a new 1,200 GPM Water Well (2,700 deep) including a 3,000 deep Test Hole, Test Well, Production Well (500x16 outer casing/2,100x12 inner casing/100x8 SS Screen); Vertical Turbine Pump Assembly (1,200 gpm @ 250 TDH); Chlorine Disinfection; Mn Sequestration; Yard Piping; Electrical Work; Emergency Electrical Generator; and related work including Limestone, PC Concrete paving (6 thick), Miscellaneous Clearing, Sitework, & Erosion Control; all located on an existing site on the south side of LA40 West about 0.5 mile west of I-55, and all associated and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied. Construction Budget: $1,950,000 Contract Term: 180 calendar days Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidding Documents may also be examined at the Office of the Executive Director, Tangipahoa Water District; 46463 N. Morrison Boulevard; Hammond, LA 70401. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents shall be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above upon payment of a deposit of $100.00 for each set. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within ten (10) days after receipt of Bids (November 14, 2022) will receive a full refund ($100.00). Non-Bidders will receive a refund of $50.00 for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Spangler Engineering, LLC. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. |
