Description

Chiller Replacement for Northeast Middle School Questions regarding the bid should be directed in writing to Triad Engineering Consultants, Inc at 2638 Willard Dairy Rd, Suite 100 High Point, NC 27265: or emailed to Admin@TriadEngMEP.com Work in the project includes: Demolish and replace the existing 236 ton water cooled chiller including condenser water piping, chilled water piping as indicated in the Mechanical Room, control valves, misc. piping modifications, electrical, makeup water system, and controls system modifications. Flush, fill and vent system and provide cleaner and water treatment for the entire closed chilled water system and for the existing tower water system. Disassemble, clean and reassemble the existing plate and frame heat exchanger. Provide new light fixtures as shown. All work under this contract is to be included in a Single Prime contract to the successful bidder. Note that this project is not funded under the federal ESSER program Requests must include "Request for Northeast Middle School Bid Documents Link" in the subject line and the Bidder's valid N.C. Contractor License number. Requests for links received after 5:00 pm Wednesday July 27, 2022 will not be acknowledged. All official Bid Documents and addenda will be posted to the linked folder. Bidders will be responsible for checking the linked folder for updates up to the Bid Date. A 5% Bid Bond and 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds are required for this project. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 60 days Requests for printed packages shall include a check for the package cost and a Bill To shipping account number for overnight shipping and must be received no later than 5:00 pm Tuesday July 16, 2022 E-Verify Requirements: This project requires the awarded vendor to comply with the requirements of E-Verify. (U.S. law requiring companies to employ only individuals who may legally work in the United States - either U.S. citizens, or foreign citizens who have the necessary authorization.) Minority businesses are encouraged to submit bids for this project. The appropriate forms from the section entitled "Participation by Women and Minority Owned Businesses" must be submitted with each bid to show good faith efforts to obtain Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise participation.
