Description | Bid Proposals from interested and qualified parties for an existing library renovation including general trades, structural, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work, located at 211 W. Division St, Fisher, Illinois 61843. This project consists of a complete renovation of approximately 2,500 square feet of existing library and ancillary spaces at the high school. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid amount. No bids may be with-drawn for a period of 30 days after opening ofbids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. A separate ftp site will be made available to the successful bidder for the duration of construction. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance inaform acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The Owner requires all contractors and vendors doing business with the Owner not to discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, age, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, non-jobrelated handicaps or national origin. Fisher CUSD No. 1 reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any and all informalities inthe bidding. After receipt of bids and completion of the review process, Fisher CUSD No. 1 may award acontract to the bidder that, in its opinion, will provide acombination of the best services and reasonable cost. Successful bidders shall be required to observe the fair employment practices commission rules pertaining to equal employment opportunity, and comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.., and use wage determination asdetermined by the Illinois Department of Labor, Conciliation, and Mediation Division dated current to the bid date. These wages will remain in effect until superseded bya new determination. Bids will be held good for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of bids. |
