Description

The objective of this project scope of work is to remove and replace concrete, add a new parking lot and provide pavement markings in compliance with the final SOW and all attachments thereto. Aged existing concrete conditions have become worn, and need surface replaced throughout the exterior of the Port, for public safety. This work is to take place at a Land Port of Entry (LPOE) Building that is considered historic in nature; care must be taken to ensure that the building and surrounding surfaces are not damaged during this replacement project. Contractor shall remove an estimated 13,898sf. of north parking lot curb and flat work. New concrete with rebar at existing concrete locations as well as new parking lot and driveway areas estimated to be 14,096sf. of north parking curb and flat work for a grand total of 27,994sf + 120sf. for new flagpole and light pole not including footers for a grand total of 28,114sf. of surface area. Contractor shall verify existing site conditions and all quantities prior to submitting their proposal to the government. All new concrete shall have new pavement marking using Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) type paint after 28 days of cure time.
