Grant St, Henry St, Seward St Street Reconstruction Project

The project site is located on Grant, Seward, and Henry Streets and consists offull depth reconstruction ofGrant St/Henry St from E. Main St to Starbuck Ave and Seward St from Hancock St to Starbuck Ave and are further detailed in the Project Description and illustrated in the drawings portion ofthis bid. The successful contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion ofthe work shown on the plans and described in the specifications. The City Council reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount ofnot less than five per centum (5%) ofthe bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided for in the Information for Bidders The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount ofnot less than 100% ofthe total amount ofthe accepted bid and in such form and having as surety thereon such surety company or companies as are approved by the City Council. Insurance carrier must have principal office in New York State or be authorized to do business in New York State This project is partially funded using U.S. Department ofHousing and Urban Development financial assistance through the Community Development Block Grant Program and is subject to Section 3 ofthe Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 1701u and 24 CFR Part 75)
