Construct Valley Gutter Medford Readiness Center

The Wisconsin National Guard Readiness Center located in Medford, WI was constructed with an asphalt valley for stormwater drainage located in the public access parking lot. Over time, the asphalt valley has deteriorated to the point where corrective measures are required. The project will require construction of a reinforced concrete valley gutter to provide a better long-term drainage feature through the parking lot. More specifically, this project involves saw cutting and removal of asphalt pavement and removal of a deteriorated sidewalk. New construction items that are required include new concrete curb and gutter, reinforced concrete valley gutter, new sidewalk, and construction of new asphalt pavement in the patch area between the sawcut and valley gutter. The project also includes erosion control as necessary, backfilling, site / turf restoration, and site cleanup.
