Construction of a Small Campground Cabin

**As of July 30, 2020, project has not been awarded. Project will rebid this fall.** 1. Frame a 14' wide by 22' long campground cabin on a floating concrete slab a. 2"x 6" x 8' walls b. 2" x 6" Rafters 2' O.C. (6/12 pitch) i. 1' overhang on eave and gable c. Total of (2) 36" exterior door opening d. Total of (4) window openings 30" wide by 36" high e. Install 1/2 " OSB on sidewalls f. Install 5/8" OSB roof sheathing g. Install 2"x 6" wood fascia board 2. Interior Finishing a. Install 1"x8" tongue and groove pine car siding on ceiling (kiln dried) b. Install 1" 8" tongue and groove pine car siding on walls (kiln dried) c. Install pine window extension jams, door and window casing, and floor base d. Install vinyl plank flooring throughout cabin; (Owner to provide flooring) 3. Roofing: a. Install ice and water barrier 3' past the eave of the outside wall b. Install 15# roofing felt c. Install 26 gauge metal sheet roofing and trim. Steel must have a min. 40 year paint warranty 4. Siding: a. Install Tyvek house wrap. b. Install primed LP SmartSide Strand 3/8"x 8" textured lap siding and LP stranded 1" x 4" trim caulked per manufactures specifications. c. Install 1" x 8" LP blockings and flashing for exterior light, electrical outlet, and exhaust fan(location discussed with owner) d. All windows, doors, corners and gables must be trimmed as per the manufactures specifications. 5. Soffit and Fascia a. Install 1' steel vent soffit panels on eaves and 1' solid steel soffit panels on gables; color burnished slate b. Install 6" steal fascia; color burnished slate 6. Windows and Doors: a. Install a total of two 36" steel entry doors including locks and hardware to include deadbolt. i. (1) six panel ii. (1) 1/4 lite door b. Install a total of (4) 30" wide by 36" tall vinyl single hung Alliance windows per the manufactures specifications Calumet County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
