Landa Park Aquatic Complex Water Quality Retrofit

The City of New Braunfels reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to accept those deemed most advantageous. Questions may be submitted until close of business day on September 19, 2022, 5:00 P.M. (CST). The Project for which the Work under the Contract Documents may be the whole or only a part is generally described as follows: Demolition, regrading and resurfacing of an existing parking lot located adjacent to the intersection of Landa Park Dr and Golf Course Rd. Construction of drainage improvements (i.e., vegetated swale) within the parking lot area. ARTICLE 2 - WORK 04.02.01 Contractor shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents. The Work is generally described as follows: The City of New Braunfels seeks a bid for the facilities included in the Landa Park Aquatic Complex Water Quality Retrofit plans, prepared for the City of New Braunfels. All proposals shall follow the format provided by the City of New Braunfels. The City is seeking a construction company with quality experience in parking lot and drainage infrastructure construction. Statement of Work: o Demolition of existing asphalt pavement. o Regrading of subgrade. o Reconstruction of parking lot including base, hot mix, ribbon curb, wheel stops and striping. o Installation of a landscaped drainage swale. o Installation of a grate inlet and underground reinforced concrete storm pipe to tie-in to existing storm sewer. o Contractor shall coordinate all work, inspections, and approvals with the City of New Braunfels. o Project shall comply with the United States Occupational Safety & Health Administration regulations. o Methods & Means of construction shall be compliant with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations. This includes obtaining all necessary permits and inspections. o Contractor to adhere to City of New Braunfels construction administration procedures. o Maintain and submit all project records such as record drawings, project manuals, and warranties for approval by the City of New Braunfels.
