Section 024000 1. Remove the existing sheet metal perimeter and penetration flashing. Coping cap, counter flashing, gutter and downspouts, pitch pans. 2. Remove the existing roof, insulation, fasteners, and other materials down to the roof deck. 3. Remove derelict curbs and RTUs as indicated on the construction drawings or spray painted with an orange “X”. Section 061000 1. Install new wood nailers to accommodate the height of the new roof system. 2. Install new decking to infill deck openings resulting from demolition of derelict curbs and RTUs. 3. Raise curbs to a height 8 inches above the finished roof height. Section 075400 1. Install a new 3” base layer of polyisocyanurate insulation. 2. Install a new ¼” per foot tapered insulation system. 3. Install new ½” high density cover board. 4. Install tapered insulation sumps, crickets, and saddles between drainage points. 3. Install the specified adhered TPO membrane system. Section 076000 1. Install new perimeter and penetration sheet metal flashing materials. Section 079200 1. Install the specified sealant at locations indicated in the construction drawings Section 099100 1. Abrade, clean, prime, and paint all raw metal stacks, pipes, frames, supports, gas pipes, hatches, access doors, drains etc.
