Timber Sale on Certain State Lands in Tuscaloosa County

The timber made the subject of this notice is located on the following described lands: Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, Township 19 South, Range 7 West: Section 34 a portion of the South ½ of the Southwest ¼; Township 20 South, Range 7 West: Section 3 a portion of the East ½ of the Northwest ¼, a portion of the West ½ of the Northeast ¼, a portion of the Northeast ¼ of the Southwest ¼, and a portion of the West ½ of the Northwest ¼ of the Southeast ¼; containing 118 acres more or less to be clearcut. VOLUMES: The estimated product class timber volumes are as follows: Pine Pulpwood 3,679 TONS Pine Chip-N-Saw 2,605 TONS Pine Sawtimber 1,387 TONS Hardwood Pulpwood 1,104 TONS Hardwood Sawtimber 472 TONS Volumes are not guaranteed and all bidders must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of estimated quantity. TIMBER: The timber to be cut is all merchantable pine and hardwood within the sale area. The external boundaries of the sale area are yellow painted property boundaries and a blue painted Streamside Management Zone as shown on the sale area map. Streamside Management Zones are not included in the sale area.
