Maintenance Contract for Plumbing Work for Various City Owned Buildings (VCOBs)

The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Maintenance Contract for Plumbing Work for Various City-owned Buildings Starting Date: May 1, 2023 All work is to be completed by on or before December 31, 2023 (Eight months Contract with an option to extend for two (2) additional one year periods). Liquidated Damages: $100.00 / Calendar Day Questions pertaining to the bid package should be directed to Charles William at (518) 434-5675 or emailed to cwilliam@albanyny.gov. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions To Bidders. If a bid deposit is not submitted with the bid, the bid may be deemed incomplete and may not be considered. All bids must be accompanied by a City of Albany Minority Participation Plan and/or Minority Participation Waiver. If the Minority Participation documents are not submitted with the bid, the bid may be deemed incomplete and may not be considered. All requests for waivers shall be accompanied by a plan which identifies what portion of the goals will be attained. Bids may be submitted by mail or other delivery system, however, it shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure the bid is delivered by the date and time as specified above. The Board of Contract and Supply reserves the right to reject any bid delivered after the date and time specified above. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or Conditional Bids.
