Columbia Career Technical Education Renovation

The work shall consist of the renovation of an existing 7,000 square foot building into classroom space including all disciplines. Project schedule is negotiable but must be completed no later than August 1, 2023. MSAD 37 would like the project completed as soon as possible. Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the Total Bid must be submitted as part of the bid. The Bid Security may be either a proposal guarantee bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Maine or a certified check drawn upon a bank within the State of Maine. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after receipt of Bids unless released by the Owner. Bids submitted without Bid Security and completed certification forms will not be considered. Performance and Payment bonds in the amount of 100 percent are also required. The Contractor shall guarantee all materials and equipment furnished and work performed for a period of one year from the date of substantial completion. MSAD 37 reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to accept any Bid that it may deem to be in its best interests, as Owner, to accept.
