S222--Regulated Non-Medical Waste Disposal & Recycling

SCOPE: Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, vehicles, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform pickup and disposal of various regulated non-medical waste streams generated by the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System (NYHHS). Contractor shall provide all services as specified in this document and as listed in Attachment 1- Quantities Table. Services shall include all labor, incidentals. packing materials, tools, equipment, analysis, travel, transportation, documentation, waste treatment, disposal and support services required to categorize, package, transport, document and dispose of hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal wastes and certain recyclable materials from NYHHS facilities. Contractor and the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR) will arrange for a routine (non- emergency) service at the facility, in accordance with the schedule outlined herein. The successful offeror must possess the necessary technical expertise and resources required by this solicitation in order to be considered for contract award. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor (trained employees), vehicle, equipment, supplies and incidentals to conduct the activities described below. Work shall be performed in accordance with all applicable, Federal, State, Local and all governing regulations. All hazardous and non-hazardous materials will be disposed of by the Contractor in accordance with current Federal, State and local guidelines governing regulated hazardous and non-hazardous chemical wastes.
