Description

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project work includes constructing a beach berm and vegetated dune along approximately 3.3 miles of St. Lucie County shoreline from Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Range Monument R-98 in St. Lucie County to the Martin County line. Planting of dune vegetation will take place following completion of constructed segments. Sand for the project will be dredged from an offshore borrow source in federal waters approximately 4 miles from the project site. Project work also includes, but is not limited to, beach tilling/vibration monitoring, turbidity monitoring, and environmental species monitoring.
