Description

The project construction phase comprises generally of earthwork excavating, regrading, retaining, and recontouring of the campground (as shown on Sheet C004); construction of the underground utilities including the wastewater collection system with RV dump drains and "Orenco" treatment systems, the water supply and distribution systems, and the campground electrical power conduit system but only service to the overhead light standards, guard station, southern Tioga CXT, wastewater lift stations, wastewater treatment system, wastewater utility building, water well and control buildings, and camp host sites; construction of campground roadways, parking areas, dumpster pads, pathways, overnight campsites, group meeting/RV site, RV dump station pullouts, and beachfront day use parking areas; restoration of the North Day Use area beachfront; construction of the North Day Use sidewalks, pony wall, and beachfront accessible pavilions; construction and/or installation of campsite fire rings, utility service pads with bollard(s), picnic tables, and campsite bollards with number placards; and construction of the Guard station complete with double swing barrier gates, flag pole, tire ripper, and fee collection box (see Sheet C004 "General construction plan"). Asphalt surfacing will only be completed on the areas shown on Sheet C004 of the construction plans. Campsite shade shelters and concrete pads will only be constructed at the camp host sites. The premanufactured CXT restrooms have been relocated and/or delivered and installed by CXT and shall be protected and preserved in place. All remaining proposed facilities and/or improvements will be constructed later under separate contract and construction phase. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that delivery to DFCM of all submittals is made by the deadlines established by the Project Schedule. The contractor shall comply with and require all of its subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to the Division of Facilities Construction and Management on the AIA Document A310 - 2010 Bid Bond form, or equivalent, shall accompany the bid submitted to DFCM via email at dfcm_vbs@utah.gov. The Division of Facilities Construction and Management reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the State.
