Description | The estimated construction cost for the base bid of the Contract - Phase 6 is $3,396,289.27 The estimated construction cost for the base bid of the Contract - Phase 7 is $4,858,162.27 The Base Bid Project Area consists of constructing installation of gravity sanitary sewer, force main, and regional pump Stations along US 50. Bids will be received for two separate contracts or an opportunity of one combined contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis. Questions regarding the information contained in this Advertisement and the associated bid documents shall be submitted in writing and emailed to: gsilcott@dlz.com (740) 380-2828 and to be given consideration must be received at least seven days prior to the advertisement submittal date. All such interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the Advertisement and bid documents, which if issued, will be posted no later than three days prior to the submittal date. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017)and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. The deminimis and minor components waiver apply to this contract. The proposed work is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and the implementing regulations at 24 CFR part 75. The criteria for determining eligibility as a Section 3 business concern can be found in 24CFR 75.5 and the selected Contractor's Section 3 obligations, as described at 24 CFR 75.19. DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 153.011 OF THE REVISED CODE APPLY TOTHIS PROJECT. COPIES OF SECTION 153.011 OF THEREVISED CODE CAN BE OBTAINED FROM ANY OF THEOFFICES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVESERVICES. Material must comply with the American Iron & Steel (AIS)Requirement of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014(Public Law 113-76). |
