Description

For Lynnwood Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Interim Sludge Disposal This project consists of improvements and modifications to the City's existing municipal wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) which includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of a new sludge conveyor and loading system, sludge loadout enclosure, odor control system, chemical feed system, associated electrical and control system, associated site work and yard piping, and other appurtenances. The project also includes removal and salvage of an existing sludge pump inside the Solids Handling Building, rerouting portion of existing stormwater lines by removing an existing stormwater catch basin and its associated stormwater pipe and installing two new catch basins and new stormwater pipes. All Bids shall be based upon compliance with the Project Manual (including, without limitation, the Contract Plans and Specifications). All Bids must be accompanied by a scan of a bid bond, cashier's check, certified check, or postal money order in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. Bids or actual bid security document(s) received after the time fixed for the Bid Opening will cause the Bid to be non-responsive and it will not be considered. The estimated cost range for this project is $1.8 to $2.6 million. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The project shall be Physically Completed within 215 working days of the Notice to Proceed. The city will not have an alternative date and time for a prebid walkthrough. The City of Lynnwood expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive irregularities, and to award the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder. Bidder Proposals shall remain valid for forty-five (45) days after the actual date of Bid Opening. The City of Lynnwood in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 US.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
