Description | The proposed project (base bid) generally includes the replacement of two existing aviation fuel pump and filtration skids with new upgraded 250-gallon per minute (GPM) flow rate units, incorporation of automatic refueler vehicle overfill shutdown systems into the two skids, adding a Veeder-Root remote alarm panel for local high-level alarm notification, replacement of four existing clock gauges, and associated electrical improvements. The scope also includes replacement of copper pressure relief tubing on the aviation gasoline (Avgas) with stainless steel tubing, and replacement of the emergency/fire valves on the outlet piping of the four existing aviation fuel above-grade storage tanks (ASTs). Site work includes fencing and gates replacements, and installation of bollards. Add Alternate No. 1 is to provide the two skids with stainless-steel enclosures. |
