Description | This project will consist of the contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials and miscellaneous hardware necessary to complete this project. At the completion of this project, the contractor must complete all issues needed for passing a final Fire Marshall inspection to make the site operational. Some of the items that were in violation were; no vapor sensor or at least not hooked up in the containment to detect fuel leaks, several sump pumps on the fuel system are not registered and they have no lids installed on them, and the fuel lines needs a breakaway installed 1.Remove the fuel in the lines from the shore transition sump to the dispensers, properly dispose or store in approved containers. 2.Sawcut and approximate 6’x 6’ area around the transition sump on the shore and remove the sump. 3.Excavate the riprap to expose the diesel and unleaded product lines located on the shoreline between the water and parking lot, expose and remove lines. 4.Remove dock decking to expose the product line and remove the lines. 5.Remove the dispensers and store for reinstallation, protect from any fuel contamination. 6.Furnish and install a new transition sump for the product lines located on the shore. 7.Furnish and install a new stainless-steel transition sump located next to the ice machine, located on the west side of the marina store. All sumps will be installed level with the wood decking. 8.Furnish and install UV protected double wall piping from the shore to all dispensers. 9.Furnish and install break-away fittings connecting the product piping to the dispensers. 10.Furnish and install new entry boot fittings for the dispenser sumps. 11.Reinstall previously removed dispensers. 12.Reinstall previously removed deck boards. 13.Purge and calibrate dispensers. 14.Place site back into service and pass State Fire Marshall’s final inspection. |
