| Description | Reclamation shall be performed in two phases: Phase I is the site preparation; and Phase II is the seeding. Phase I and Phase II shall both be completed at a site before moving on to the next site. Phase I is the site preparation including landscape recontouring and soil decompaction; slash pile and boulder roadway placement; woody debris removal; and fencing and gate installation, to facilitate the restoration of native vegetation within the Mansfield Canyon mine reclamation sites. The USFS expects this work to occur in the fall (late October to December) of 2021. COR shall approve Phase I activities immediately prior to commencement of Phase II activities. Phase II is seeding, hydro mulching, and installing erosion control materials across reclamation areas. |
