This solicitation is for the construction of CWD Collection Structures for the State of Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF). The job is to be performed in accordance with the enclosed scope of work and specifications In accordance with La. R.S. 37:2163.A, a Contractors License Number in the appropriate classification(s) such as Building Construction and/or 7-511 Metal Buildings, Cold Formed Metal Framing, Siding, Sheet Metal must appear on the bid opening envelope on all projects in the amount of $50,000.00 or more (and $1.00 or more if hazardous materials are involved). Failure to do so will remove the bid from consideration. In accordance with La. R.S. 37.2163, anyone objecting to the above classification(s) must send a certified letter to both the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors and the Office of State Procurement. The letter must be received no later than ten (10) working days prior to the day on which the bid is to be opened Amount of bid bond required: addressed in the special terms and conditions section if applicable Amount of performance bond, if required: addressed in the special terms and conditions section The state of louisiana reserves the right to award items separately, grouped or on an all-or-none basis and to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities Scope of Work: Vendor to furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment, and supplies necessary to properly construct eight (8) covered structures per the below listed specifications, at the designated locations listed. Specifications: 1.Style: Standard Carport 2. Size: Ten (10) feet by Ten (10) feet 3. Roof Pitch: Three (3) / Twelve (12) 4.Braces: Two (2) feet 5.Standard trusses 6. Standard leg style 7. Leg Height: Seven (7) feet 8. Sides: Fully enclosed 9.Back End: Fully enclosed 10.Front End: Gable style 11.Horizontal siding 12. Wall Color: Beige 13.Roof Color: Green 14.Trim Color: Green 15. Roof and siding material: twenty nine (29) gauge painted steel 16. Leg and brace material: two and one half (2.5) inch by two and one half (2.5) inch, fourteen (14) gauge galvanized square tubing. 17.Anchoring: Appropriate anchor for the substrate upon which structure is constructed, capable of withstanding one hundred and thirty (130) miles per hour wind.
