Description | SCOPE OF WORK Work under this Contract primarily consists of intersection improvements for County Road 4 and County Road 20 in the Towns of Seneca and Phelps, Ontario County, New York. The work will transform the existing two-way stop-controlled intersection of County Road 4 and County Road 20 into a roundabout. The period of full closure shall be limited to the one-hundred-three (103) consecutive calendar days between June 26, 2023 and October 6, 2023. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 6.9% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5.3% Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% Each bid shall include Bid security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid offered by the bidder. Said bid security shall be in the form of a certified check, bond, or irrevocable line of credit and is required to be included with the bid submittal. Note: The County of Ontario shall not be held responsible for the completeness or accuracy of any bid documents received by a bidder that were not directly issued to that bidder by the Ontario County Purchasing Department. Any bidder submitting a bid based on incomplete or inaccurate information resulting from documentation received from any third party shall not have cause for relief from award or completion of a contract in accordance with the official documents on file with the Ontario County Purchasing Department. It is HIGHLY suggested that all bidders interested in participating in this bid, contact the Ontario County Purchasing Department directly at the above address or telephone number to assure they have received the most accurate and up to date material concerning this contract. NO EXCEPTIONS ARE MADE TO THIS POLICY. This project includes a 5% DBE Participation Goal. There is also a EEO goals for Women (6.9%) and Minorities (5.3%). There are no M/WBE or SDVOB goals for this project. There are no residence or geographical restrictions. Ontario County reserves the right to reject any or all bids PROPERTY OF ONTARIO COUNTY; Reproduction of this document and its attachments in any manner, including electronically is prohibited without the express written permission of the Ontario County Purchasing Department. Checks shall be made payable to the Ontario County Treasurer. No bidder shall receive documents prior to receipt of a deposit by Purchasing Department.
