Description | The purpose of this project is to construct a trail adjacent to Accotink Creek in the City of Fairfax, which will connect two adjacent trails and provide a continuous pedestrian path along the creek. This will necessitate the construction of approximately 500 linear feet of new stone dust trail facilities as described herein. A pedestrian bridge, 70 feet in length, is also proposed with this project. 6% DBE goal. VDOT pre-qualification required. Questions Deadline Submit all questions no later than February 2, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. to David.kundid@fairfaxva.gov A fully completed and properly executed original Bid Bond, cashier's check, certified check, money order or cash escrow in the amount of five percent (5%) ofthe amount ofthe bidmade payable to the Treasurer of the City shall accompany each bid. The awardee shall submit a fully completed and properly executed original Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Amount using the form provided by the City for this purpose. THE DBE GOAL FOR THIS SOLICITATION IS SET AT 6%. PREQUALIFICATION REQUIRED All prospective bidders, including all members of a joint venture, shall be prequalified with the Virginia Department of Transportation and shall have received a certification of qualification. Judicial Trail Drive Fairlawn Drive is located/planned along the north side of the parking lot of Fairfax Presbyterian Church in the City of Fairfax, Virginia. The Presbyterian Church is located at 10723 Main Street served. |
