Description

The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) of Middle Tennessee is considering entering into joint development negotiations with HG Hill/Southeast Ventures (HGH/SV) to lease and develop RTA property located at the Donelson Station of the WeGo Star. On June 13, 2022, RTA received an unsolicited proposal from HGH/SV to lease a portion of the existing RTA property adjacent to the Donelson Station to facilitate the development of a mixed-use complex of housing, commercial and retail space to complement the rail station. As part of the overall project, parking for rail patrons would be sustained and the overall functionality of the station improved. The unsolicited proposal expresses the intent to comply with the requirements of RTA's regulatory bodies (USDOT, TDOT) in negotiating a development agreement for this property. In accordance with applicable regulations of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) of the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) and the internal procedures of the RTA, prospective developers interested in submitting a competing proposal to lease the subject property and offer RTA similar service enhancements in full compliance with the Joint Development regulations of the Federal Transit Administration, must submit a written proposal via email to: Denise Richardson, Director of Procurement and Business Diversity, Regional Transportation of Middle Tennessee: Denise.Richardson@nashville.gov. Questions regarding the submission of a proposal must be emailed to Denise Richardson by no later than 3:00 PM, September 1, 2022. RTA is an equal opportunity, equal access, affirmative action employer. RTA reserves the right to proceed with the unsolicited proposal if it is determined that no other entity responding to this notice offers a proposal with similar benefits, or to solicit for competitive proposals if it is determined that there are multiple entities that could potentially meet the intent of the project.
