Description

Project Type Bid Response Types Line Items Response File General Attachment (required) Type of Award Lump Sum Pre-Bid Meeting No Online Q&A No Contractor shall furnish any and all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, utilities, services and facilities for the Switzer Canyon Transmission Main Phase IV Project (Project). The Project scope is specific to the attached Special Provisions (Exhibit A). Contractor shall construct the Project for the Owner in a good, workmanlike and substantial manner and to the satisfaction of the Owner through its engineers and under the direction and supervision of the City Engineer, or his properly authorized agents including but not limited to project managers and project engineers. Contractor's work shall be strictly pursuant to and in conformity with the Contract. General Attachments required. Exhibit C - 7 Bid Schedule needs to be fully filled out and included in the General Attachments. Thank you. The Switzer Canyon Water Transmission Main Phase IV project will be to install a new City of Flagstaff 16-inch diameter high pressure water main and new 24-inch diameter medium pressure water main from Fir Avenue & San Francisco Street along San Francisco Street, Chickadee Trail and adjacent to Quintana Drive. Phase IV will stub-out both the new 16-inch and 24-inch mains north of Quintana Drive for future Phase V connection and extension. The Project generally consists of installing two new water transmission mains, 16" and 24", that will complete the distribution system, zone A and B, from near the intersection of Fir Avenue and San Francisco Street to North Quintana Drive. The length of Phase IV is approximately 5200 feet. The Project area extends outside City of Flagstaff limits. Included in the Project will be the two (2) water mains with numerous gate valves, fire hydrants and other appurtenances. Work will also include returning disturbed areas to their original condition per Restoration Guidelines in the Special Provisions. Approximately 800 feet of gas main relocation with trenching, bedding and backfilling is included in this project. Approximately 500 feet of social trail will be relocated as well Written requests may be submitted via e-mail to Emily Markel, Acting Purchasing Manager at emarkel@flagstaffaz.gov.
