Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the necessary bonds if the contract is awarded to him/her The contract generally consists of the construction of a modular block retaining wall and full depth roadway reconstruction along East Bluff Drive to repair a landslide which occurred in 2020. Also included are drainage improvements, debris cleanup, and guide rail construction as a part of the work along with other work specified and indicated on the Construction Drawings The Town of Jerusalem reserves the right to waive any irregularities, to reject any and all bids, and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing via website.
