Description | **As of May 25, 2023, project was awarded to Barrs Recreation, LLC, awarded amount is $621,176.52.** This Request for Bids is a solicitation for the purchase of supplies, material and equipment requiring the expenditure of Federal Financial Assistant funding. Contracts funded with federal grant or loan funds must be procured in a manner that conforms with all applicable Federal laws, policies, and standards, including those under the Uniform Guidance (2 C.F.R. Part 200). The purpose of this RFB is to obtain bids for playground improvements to be constructed at seven (7) Elementary Schools within Henderson County. Henderson County Public Schools encourages participation by small, minority, disabled, and woman-owned business. Award is contingent upon compliance by prospective vendor with all of the following: o All North Carolina State, Local and Federal Procurement laws o Specifications/Requirements listed in the Request for Bids o Henderson County Public School's terms and conditions o Federal Uniform Guidance (UGO/FEMA Contract Provision) Henderson County Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids for sound documented reasons. All questions regarding this bid shall be addressed in writing to Joni Huchzermeier, CLGPO, Purchasing Agent and emailed to jdhuchzermeier@hcpsnc.org no later than Noon on April 20, 2023 Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor and materials required to clean and restore the site to at least the existing condition. B. Maintain premises and public properties free from accumulations of waste, debris and rubbish caused by work operations. C. At completion of work, remove waste materials, rubbish, tools, equipment, machinery and surplus materials; clean all sight exposed surfaces; leave project clean and ready for occupancy. D. At completion of project, restore and replace, when and as directed by the Engineer, any public or private property disturbed or damaged by Contractor's work operations to a condition at least equal to that existing prior to beginning work, or as otherwise specified. Materials, equipment and methods shall be approved by the Engineer. |
