Description

**As of June 28, 2023 , this project has been cancelled due to no bids received and no definite date for the rebid.** The City of Bluefield is seeking sealed proposals from qualified contractors to construct a picnic shelter, double unit public restroom, and replace existing fencing at Hardy Street Park. All offerors shall abide by all applicable State and Federal laws. The City of Bluefield will afford full opportunity for minority business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, sex, age, handicap, or national origin in the contract award. - The purpose of these requirements is to construct a picnic shelter, double unit public restroom, and replace existing fencing at Hardy Street Park. -The primary goals of this project are: 1. Add residential curb appeal to one of the City's parks for the historic North Side neighborhood. 2. Provide an attractive and functional space for which the community can gather and recreate safely. 3. Life-cycle Cost: The preferred end-state of the project would be one that ensures long-term functionality of the products and minimizes upkeep costs. All quotes may be mailed to the address below.
