Construction of Hurricane Zeta Repairs to Beach Boulevard

As of June 19, 2023, project was awarded to Landmark Contractors, awarded amount is $1,311,734.29. The Hancock County Board of Supervisors, Hancock County, Mississippi, will receive bids for the construction of removal and replacement of damaged concrete rail and roadway along Beach Blvd in Hancock County, Mississippi for a distance of approximately 1 mile, Federal Aid Project No. ER-0023-00(056) Removal of damaged concrete roadway panels and replacement with poured-in-place concrete roadway panels; removal of damaged concrete rail/sheet pile cap, and replacement with new rail as detailed in the plan drawings. Scope will also include shoulder repair consisting of grading the 30-feet wide shoulder to a uniform cross-section and filling to roadway grade with limestone base material, varying depth from approximately 3 inches to approximately 6 inches. Bidders Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the Waveland Board of Aldermen and Mayor as bid security. Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement, if requested by the City.
