Description

In the parking lot located at Building 1, there are 6-50ft light poles that currently not receiving power. A shorted-out wire was located at the beginning of the line that provides power to those poles. The wire is unable to repaired without removing the pole, vendor will be responsible for removing the pole. Vendor will verify if found shorted-out wire is the correct problem. The power running to the poles is 3-phase 480-V. Vendor will follow all OSHA safety guide lines for aerial lifts. (1926.453 - Aerial lifts.) OSHA reference number. All repairs must NEC code compliant. If a new line is necessary, an electrical inspection is required. Cost of the electrical inspection will be the vendors responsibility. Building 9 walkway light was hit during a snow storm. The pole was broken at the base of the concrete support. The pole will need be to be placed in concrete with a new anchor system. The vendor must verify that there is enough wire for correct connection. A new supply line may be needed to run. All work must meet NEC standards for underground voltage work. The pole in question is a 10 ft aluminum pole.
