Description

The Yampa River Restoration and Access Project consists of in-river boulder removals and shoreline reconstruction work. The park area and river access will be located directly adjacent to the work in the Yampa River. The construction described within this Request for Proposal should be considered to have limited construction access due to the project proximity to the Yampa River and the Core Trail. The scope of work is broadly categorized as follows: • Removal of existing white water river features • Removal of existing rock seating area at water’s edge • Removal of existing soft surface trail • Construction of shoreline stabilization • Construction of pedestrian river access with stone step installation • Construction of gathering/seating areas in the new park adjacent to the river work • Addition of a soft surface trail through the park area • Revegetation and planting of materials
