Description

The work to be contracted includes but is not limited to the replacement of watermain, services, cross-connections and fire hydrants along Ridgedale Drive between Plymouth Road and Oakland Road. This includes installing 2,700 LF of 12” Fusible PVC watermain installed by directional drill, 2,760 LF of 16” Fusible PVC sliplined within an existing 24” DIP watermain, 500 feet of 8” Fusible PVC watermain installed by pipe bursting, 9 fire hydrants, 4 existing water main reconnections, traffic control, temporary sediment control, turf restoration, pavement and curb restoration. In addition to the base bid, one of two bid alternatives will be selected, installation of a 24” replacement water main by pipe bursting, either with Fusible PVC or Ductile Iron pipe
