RFQ - On Call Geotechnical and Materials Testing Services

The City of High Point is seeking qualification statements (RFQ) from qualified firms to perform soil, concrete, asphalt, materials and other geotechnical testing services for various City construction projects. The selected firm(s) shall provide testing services that are required by the City of High Point, North Carolina Department of Transportation and shall, when applicable, conform to the Federal Requirements and Special Conditions attached. The geotechnical testing will establish information for construction projects in the planning, design, preconstruction, or construction phase. The Scope of Consultant's Services, as currently envisioned by the City, would include but not be limited to the following areas of work: testing services including geotechnical and materials / specialty testing of concrete, asphalt, solids, construction materials and coatings / surveying. Consultants are requested to highlight their expertise and experience in these areas. The City of High Point is interested in obtaining the professional services of one or more consulting firms to provide support for various departmental projects for a contract period of five (5) years. Master contractual agreements are anticipated to begin in November 2022 and expire in November 2027. Specific projects will be authorized under a supplemental professional services agreement with a properly negotiated fee. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
