For Island, Westmeyer, Marengo Water Main Replacements Type of Award Lump Sum Bid Valid 90 Days Bid Bond 5.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Pre-Bid Meeting No Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 11/30/2022 2:00 PM (EST) This project will install approximately 1,038 feet of 8" ductile iron pipe to replace existing 4" and 6" pipe on Island Ave. from Romona Dr. to Westmeyer St.; install approximately 638 feet of 8" ductile iron pipe to replace existing 6" pipe on Westmeyer St. from Island Ave. to River Rd.; install approximately 754 feet of 8" ductile iron pipe to replace existing 4" pipe on Marengo St. from Island Ave. to River Rd. The City of Toledo has pre-ordered typical 638 items to ensure availability for projects that include water main replacements. These items are listed in the General Summary as Item Special - Installation for pipe, valves and hydrants. Refer to Water General Notes, Sheet 7 for more information. Delivery of these materials is expected by the end of March 2023. Bids for this project can only be accepted electronically. All lines shall be quoted. All bids must have the required paperwork and bid guaranty attached with this e-bid in order to be deemed responsive. If you are e-bidding and are using a check as the bid guaranty, the check must be received by the Division of Purchases and Supplies no later than the due date and time to be deemed responsive. The bid guaranty may be a bid bond or a certified check or cashier's check on a solvent bank. City forms must be filled out and attached to the bid: Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Conditions Contract Specifications; Toledo Municipal Income Tax Compliance; Public Utilities Compliance; MBE Good Faith and Goal Commitment; EEO Form; Suspension and Debarment; Primary and Subcontractor Forms; Best Bid Criteria; Signed Contract by Vendor CEO/President ; MBE Participation form; Certificates of Insurance; Current Worker's Compensation Certificate; Court-Ordered Child Support Affidavit; Independent Contractor PERS forms; and additional Insurance as Required. Prevailing Wages are required for this project. It is the obligation of a contractor or subcontractor to make payment in accordance with the prevailing wage determinations.
