Description	Professional design services from an A/E firm to develop and furnish Construction Documents and perform Construction Period Services for the project entitled: Replace Chilled Water System for Building 1. Tasks will include, but not limited to, preparation and/or performance of reports, specifications, renderings, working drawings, site visits, meetings and meeting minutes, staff interviews, phasing/scheduling, and other related information and services. A/E shall furnish technical services for schematic design, design development and construction documents, in addition to Construction Period Services. The following overview highlights the key aspects of the project: General Construction: A/E services are to include the design development, plans and specifications to completely replace the chilled water system in Building 1 including pumps, gauges, flow meters, control valves, isolation calves and thermometers. Sensors will be provided, as required, to allow tie0in to the facility's automation system; contractor will be responsible for making the tie-ins. All piping will be insulated. Tie-in to the closed-loop water treatment system and initial calibration is required. All abandoned piping shall be removed, along with any construction debris from VA property and properly disposed of. Electrical Work: Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required electrical construction work, including low voltage wiring, on this project to replace chilled water piping system, including pumps. Controls Work: Work includes all labor, material, equipment, programming and supervision to perform the required Controls work on this project to replace chilled water piping
