| Description | This project will consist of spanning the active Pretty Rocks landslide with a 400 foot +/- long bridge. The work consists of: structure, grading, drainage, and erosion control. Work is split into schedules as follows: Schedule A is the base schedule for the earthwork portion of the project. This project will require a significant amount of earthwork to realign the Denali Park Road to accommodate the new bridge. Option 1 will include all work necessary to construct a 400 foot +/- long steel truss bridge across the Pretty Rocks landslide. This includes abutment preparation and construction, acquisition and assembly of the superstructure, temporary work platform, and erection of the bridge. Abutments are founded on drilled piles. |
