| Description | Hangar buildings are a mixture of manufactures. Many of the structural members of the doors, though structurally sound, may have a coating of surface rust below the existing gaskets/seals. All gaskets/seals are affected by dry rot and shall be removed and replaced. All metal surfaces beneath gaskets shall be perpared and painted. Surface rust must be removed and doors repainted with appropriate paint before applying the new, replacement gaskets and fasteners. |
