Description | ** As of 03/17/2023, This project has not yet been awarded for construction and is pending some value engineering. The work generally consists of descriptions below: 1. Scope - Parking lot reconstruction, storm sewer construction, and roof gutter/downspout alterations. Improvements will include: Furnish and install storm sewer system per construction plans Furnish and install roof gutters, downspouts, and horizontal & vertical roof leaders per construction plans Remove existing pavement, scarify/re-compact subgrade Furnish and Install base aggregate, geotextiles, asphalt paving, and concrete drainage pan (valley gutter) per construction plans Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the OWNER, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful bidders shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a labor and materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. The bid bond and a copy of the CONTRACTOR's license or certificate of renewal shall be included with each bid proposal. All bids must be sealed. Parking Lot Reconstruction: Construction shall have a flexible start date but shall be substantially complete and ready for OWNER's use and pre-final inspection within 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Substantial Completion shall be no later than October 27, 2023. All construction schedules shall be finally complete and ready for final payment within thirty (30) calendar days of Substantial Completion. |
