Description

The Projectinvolves renovation and expansion of the existing Fire Station, including the addition of approximately 3,300 SF of new spaceand resurfacing of 350 SF of the six-bay apparatus area with associated site improvements. The Project includes, but is not limited to: The remodel of the existing approximately 8,400 SF of the Fire Station, including the front lobby and reception area, administrative offices, training room, small workshop, kitchen, living and sleeping quarters, restrooms and showers,and storage facilities. The addition of approximately 3,300 SF of new space to accommodate 10 suppression members and five administrative personnel on-duty and provide storage capability for 35 personnel, including the addition of dorms, kitchen and living space, restrooms, office areas, exercise areas and storage areas. The resurfacing of 350 SF of the six-bay apparatus areas; covered parking for fire engines in the rear of the facility, a lighted flagpole and landscaping. Coordinating, providing, establishing and removing on-site temporary housing,including living and sleeping quarters, kitchen, restrooms and showers for at least 10 operational personnel,and on-site temporary office spaces for four administrative personnel,on-dutytwenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
