Description

The range of pressure washing shall consist of horizontal and vertical washing, and shall include, but not be limited to, building, retaining, and planter walls and caps, doors, soffits, fascia, louvers, awnings, trim, etc. Pressure washing shall remove all foreign material. to, mold, mildew, oil, grease, adhesives, sand and dirt. B. Surface materials shall include, but not be limited to, painted precast concrete, and prefinished and painted metal. Pressure Washing needs to be completed on each exterior building material so that all mold, mildew, dirt and any other debris shall be removed without damage to the surface. Brush cleaning and low or 'soft' pressure cleaning shall be used if necessary to avoid damage to particular building exteriors. C. Contractors shall provide all apparatus for safe operation at heights. This shall include, but not be limited to, ladders, scaffolds, man-lifts, rigging, anchor freestanding counterweight system ropes, chairs and harnesses. D. Care shall be taken to ensure there is no damage to all existing panels and caulking and gaskets and sealant at storefront glass frame is not damaged or removed. Contractor assumes all Liability for damage to the building. E. Existing utilities will be available for the Contractor's use. Contractor is to notify the Facility Manager prior to disrupting any utility for coordination of same.
