Cougar Lane Outfall 2A Sewer Relief Project

The project involves the construction of a new 2,050 gpm wet well - dry pit lift station, installation of 12” HDPE DR 11 force main and installation of 15” PVC SDR 35 gravity sewer main line and manholes. The proposed lift station will be located at approximately 6110 South 4800 West (Cougar Ln.) The work will require removal of existing landscaping, fencing and trees. The contractor will be required to install the new wet well- dry pit lift station along with site work and landscape restoration. Approximately 2,200 feet of 12” HDPE force main will be furnished and installed along 4800 West. Asphalt removal and replacement will be required along 4800 West. The remaining 1600 feet of 15” PVC SDR 35 gravity sewer will be installed along Kearns High School property to an existing KID sewer manhole. The District has already procured and issued a Notice to Commence Fabrication for the steel, pre-engineered dry pit lift station. The contractor will be required to provide a concrete pad for the lift station and install the lift station.
