RFP 23-20 Ryan Field Rebuild Community Engagement Services

The City of Evanston will conduct a nationwide search for a qualified consultant team experienced with engaging community members to objectively seek input on Northwestern University's proposed Ryan Field Rebuild project. The project will undoubtedly have impacts, both positive and negative, for a wide ranging constituency - local businesses, immediate neighborhoods, city-wide community. The engagement process results will help guide the Evanston City Council in its decision making processes related to granting approvals for the project including private concerts/events and zoning. RFP #23-20 is a request for an engagement process to gather input from Central Street businesses, Ryan Field neighbors, 7th Ward community members, and Evanstonians community-wide. These meetings should not take place until the significant findings of the report are ready for presentation. We anticipate draft economic impact findings would likely be ready in early July 2023. Coordination with city staff and the selected Economic Impact consultant will be necessary to time the engagement meetings to include preliminary impact5 Revised 10-20 (09-17) findings. Interested respondents should provide the following information based on four scheduled community engagement events in early July, with community engagement findings presented in a report by July 31, 2023.
